What is Halo™ Hybrid Fractional?
A breakthrough laser treatment with major results and minimal downtime.
Why Halo™ Hybrid Fractional
Halo™ is a unique treatment for different skin concerns, and can be done on most skin types. Halo™, uses two types of lasers: ablative and non-ablative to help improve the way your skin looks. The ablative laser targets pathways into the skin which leaves the area around it unharmed. Then, the non-ablative laser triggers collagen and elastin production by inputting “injuries” into the skin. This technique helps effectively minimize wrinkles.
How Halo™ Hybrid Fractional Works
In Halo™, there are two types of lasers: ablative and nonablative. Halo™ is able to help improve the way your skin looks by using the ablative laser to target pathways into the skin which leaves the area around it unharmed. Then, the nonablative laser triggers collagen and elastin production by inputting “injuries” into the skin. This technique helps effectively minimize wrinkles.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How many Halo™ treatments will I need?
Each patient is different, so it’s important to schedule a consultation to find out your own personalized treatment plan. Some patients choose to only have one Halo™ treatment while others receive multiple. The choice is really up to you and your laser consultant.
- Can I go back to work after my Halo™ appointment?
After receiving Halo™ treatments, you should wait approximately 24 hours before returning to your usual activities as it’s important to keep your skin protected. Be aware that your skin will start to peel after this time, but you’ll be able to cover it with makeup. Depending on social schedules, this treatment may require 3 to 5 days of social downtime.
- How long do results from Halo™ Hybrid Fractional laser treatments last?
Results from Halo™ are long lasting and will only improve with each laser treatment you receive. Remember, always keep your skin protected from the sun and environment no matter what.
- What does Halo™ feel like?
Some patients describe the feeling of Halo™ to be a feeling of heat with slight prickling sensations, but overall, quite comfortable.
- Will insurance cover this procedure?
Cosmetic procedures are not usually covered by your insurance company. If you have any questions to what your plan covers, it is best to talk with your insurance provider prior to treatment.
